There’s something different about Stonebarn Weddings in Pemberton WA.
While the name indicates a sort of rustic, middle of nowhere, natural aesthetic – which is all technically true – the venue itself manages to take all of that and elevate it by adding touches of luxury, comfort and style.
It gives you this wonderful dichotomy of being able to choose between a walk along the river, a roam among the trees, or a wonderfully lazy lounge inside the gorgeous accommodations the space provides. There are SO many places to choose from!
When it comes to looking for a perfect place to make your wedding day special, Stonebarn in Pemberton WA is at the top of my list! I’ve had the privilege to shoot many weddings here and I know the grounds like the back of my hand. All the hidden gems, and the things you can’t miss. Let’s talk about all the things you need to know before you book the Stonebarn wedding venue for your special day.
When you have your wedding at Stonebarn, you aren’t just getting one room or one setting. It’s a sole-use venue, which means when you rent it out you’re renting out the entire space!
The best thing about Stonebarn is that it truly is a blank canvas that allows you to create your perfect, idyllic, absolute dream-come-true wedding – especially with me as your wedding Stonebarn wedding photographer! I know this place like the back of my hand, and have spent hours upon hours discovering where some of the best tucked away spots are outside (we’ll need a 4 wheel drive, but I’ve got that covered), the best corners for capturing those intimate moments inside, and where the best light is (the river, which is nestled in a deep valley). The river is one of my favourite spots to shoot portraits of couples who really want to capture that sense of adventure (rock hopping!). The light and shade is absolutely amazing down there and it’s a really good spot to retreat to on a hot, bright summer afternoon.
Exclusive use of the 80h/160 acre estate, and all that comes along with it, means you can choose from:
Not only do you get exclusive use of the entire venue, it’s a BYO food and drink venue with no corkage fee. There’s a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, wood-fire oven, a large outdoor BBQ and tons of space for keeping food and booze cold. And for a pre-ceremony nip, you can pop in to their fantastic whisky cellar!
As you can see, this wedding is already shaping up to be an absolute stunner! Whisky cellars at your disposal, acres of ground to romp and adventure, tons of places to choose from for your ceremony – you can’t go wrong with Stonerbarn.
And for you party goers out there, here is no curfew at Stonebarn! so you can play music as loud as you like as long as you like 😊
When you rent the venue, you rent the whole venue. Stonebarn has a minimum requirement for rental time:
The accommodation at Stonebarn sleeps 16 in total, with six luxury suites upstairs and two double ensuite bedrooms downstairs. Each suite has its own claw bathtub, four-poster, king-side beds and balconies with amazing views of the truffle-filled forests. For those who can’t stay on grounds with you, there are shuttle providers in the area, with Warren Bus services being a reported favourite.
So there it is – the ins and outs of Stonebarn, one of my all time tops! Now all that’s left is to get started on your Stonebarn wedding photography planning! Get in touch through my website and take a peek at the Stonebarn website to get an idea of what the venue truly offers.
