A Tale of Fate and Adventure

Carmen and Adam’s Wedding at Hayshed Hill was truly one-of-a-kind. It all began when they first crossed paths when Carmen, originally from the Netherlands, was 18 and visiting Australia. A few years later, they met again when Carmen was back on a working holiday visa, living on the same street as Adam. Their relationship has taken them all over the world, living in England, Canada, and traveling across Europe. Now, they’ve brought their journey to this beautiful moment at Hayshed Hill, ready to start the next chapter as husband and wife.

The Proposal

On a quiet Friday in November 2022, Carmen and Adam set off for a weekend in Margaret River. Adam had a surprise planned: a sunset horse ride, knowing how much Carmen loved horses. After the ride, they dined at their favorite restaurant, Pizzica, and enjoyed an evening with unexpected fireworks. The next morning, during a walk in the Margaret River Forest, Adam proposed to Carmen. They spent the rest of the day celebrating with a private winery tour, capping off a weekend they’ll always remember.
