At the heart of Blackwood River Valley, this family-owned property is set up with state-of-the-art facilities for you to have the perfect destination wedding. It’s huge!
It has so many amazing photo spots including forests, lakes, and valleys – but what stands out are the stunning rolling hills that capture the setting sun in a really magical way (timing this can be tricky so you’ll need a photographer who knows the estate like the back of her hand). Linga Longa Estate wedding photos really are spectacular and reflect your wedding day perfectly!
When it’s not hosting couples’ dream days, the estate is home to the Wild Campout Festival and a very well known mountain bike park.
Linga Longa Estate wedding venue is surrounded by trees, a tranquil lake, a rustic hayshed, and a romantic gazebo (any of which can host your ceremony). The icing on the cake is the jaw-dropping Forest Cathedral – arguably the most epic ceremony spot in the South West!
They have it all, and it’s one of the reasons I love this venue so much – you can use the landscape itself to decorate! Plus, with a glamping village on-site, it’s an ideal spot to bring guests together for a full weekend experience, keeping the party going long after you’ve said “I do”.
At the venue, food and drinks are entirely your choice, allowing you to build your perfect wedding day feast. Linga Longa’s awesome owners Bec & Boxer are happy to recommend amazing local caterers and vendors too. What’s better is there are no strict time schedules, so you can have a truly laid-back experience that’s catered to your vibe.
At Linga Longa Estate, guests are transported around on a 4WD bus, which is an adventure in itself! And as your Linga Longa Estate wedding photographer, I’ll capture all of those fun moments.
Insider tip: the sun sets 40 minutes earlier here! I’ll guide you to the perfect spot for those sunset photos (it requires timely logistics, which I’ve perfected).
Linga Longa Estate wedding capacity is 200 guests (max). The estate has four outdoor ceremony locations and two reception locations.
One of my favourite ceremony spots is the Forest Cathedral which is literally cathedral-like with the same ethereal power! With a canopy of festoon lights and towering trees around you, the ambiance becomes truly magical – like nothing else I’ve ever seen. Linga Longa Estate wedding photography is so picturesque (and my absolute favourite) for this very reason.
The permanent marquee is the perfect location to kick off the celebrations, rain or shine, with clear walls overlooking the lake and an outdoor log lounge that’s a great spot to relax and unwind by the cosy fire pit.
The packages are for up to 100 people camping, so bring your own tent, campers and caravans! For those who want something a bit special, Linga Longa has a glamping village (for up to 100 guests), where you can sleep in a luxurious tent and create your own festival vibe. The team at Linga can also accommodate for a lot more and will customise your package to suit extra camping guests.
Staying in the bell tents means you can enjoy the outdoors and reconnect with nature without forgoing your creature comforts. Everything you need for a peaceful night’s rest is provided, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Linga Longa Estate wedding costs vary, with packages customised for your individual needs. Lakeside Ceremony Packages are $14,000 and Forest Cathedral is $17,000. Packages can include some handy add-ons in addition to your wedding and ceremony, such as breakfast the next day or a bus shuttle service for guests who have accommodation elsewhere.
With natural beauty around every corner, Linga Longa Estate weddings are truly unforgettable with some of the most epic photo locations in the South West! If your perfect wedding is having all your guests stay with you to party together into the night and beyond, Linga Longa is the spot. For those who love a festival vibe with a glamping village ready to go, it’s the perfect place to create your very own festival experience — one that you and your guests will be talking about for years to come.
