Ideas to serve alcohol at your wedding

Your wedding day is one of the most special occasions of your life. It’s a day to celebrate your love and commitment to each other with family and friends. And what better way to celebrate than with a toast or two? Here are some of my ideas to serve alcohol at your wedding

If you’re looking for ideas on how to serve alcohol at your wedding, I’ve got you covered. Here are some suggestions that will make your special day even more memorable.

  1. Signature Cocktails: Creating a signature cocktail is a fun and unique way to serve alcohol at your wedding. You can work with your bartender to come up with a cocktail that reflects your taste and personality as a couple. Whether you want something sweet and fruity or strong and boozy, a signature cocktail is a great way to personalize your wedding.
  2. Wine Tasting: If you and your partner are wine enthusiasts, consider hosting a wine tasting during your wedding reception. You can select a variety of wines and have your guests sample each one. This is a great way to introduce your guests to new wines and share your love of wine with them. Alternatively you can organise a wine tour prior to your wedding, and select some fantastic wines from this stunning South West wine region.
  3. Champagne Toast: A champagne toast is a classic way to celebrate any special occasion. You can have your guests raise their glasses and toast to your love and happiness. If you’re on a budget, you can opt for a less expensive sparkling wine or prosecco instead of champagne.
  4. If you’re looking to add an extra touch of elegance and glamour to your wedding, a champagne fountain could be a great option. A champagne fountain, is a stunning display that involves pouring champagne into the top tier of a fountain or tower, which then cascades down into multiple tiers of glasses below.. To create a champagne fountain, you’ll need a specially designed champagne fountain or tower. These can be rented from party rental companies or purchased online. You’ll also need plenty of champagne, glasses, and someone who is experienced in pouring the champagne to create the cascade effect.
  5. Open Bar: If you want to keep things simple, you can opt for an open bar. This means that your guests can order any drink they like throughout the night without having to worry about paying for it. While an open bar can be expensive, it’s a great way to ensure that your guests have a good time.
  6. Beer and Wine Only: If you’re on a tight budget or if you’re trying to keep things low-key, you can opt for a beer and wine only bar. This means that you’ll only be serving beer and wine to your guests. While this might not be as exciting as a full bar, it’s a great way to save money and still have a good time.
  7. DIY Bar: If you’re looking for a fun and interactive way to serve alcohol at your wedding, consider setting up a DIY bar. You can set up a table with all the ingredients for a specific cocktail and let your guests make their own drinks. This is a great way to get your guests involved and keep them entertained.

No matter how you decide to serve alcohol at your wedding, make sure that you have a plan in place. Talk to your venue about any restrictions or regulations they might have regarding alcohol service. And always make sure that your guests have a safe way to get home at the end of the night. With a little bit of planning and creativity, you can make your wedding day even more memorable.
